UK-based UV curing systems manufacturer GEW has appointed Jan Jonissek as sales manager, Germany.
Mr Jonissek will initially focus on northern Germany and will be based near Hamburg. According to the company, the appointment is intended to strengthen regional coverage and support the existing GEW D-A-CH team, which is based near Stuttgart in southern Germany.
He joins GEW after ten years with Hoenle AG and its subsidiary Eltosch Grafix, where he specialised in project management and sales of LED curing systems. Mr Jonissek joined Eltosch Grafix as a project manager in 2016, overseeing complex international projects and working with global partners. In 2021, he became a key account manager, with responsibility for developing and expanding a key OEM partnership in the sheetfed and web offset printing sector.
In his new role, Mr Jonissek will oversee regional sales activities across a range of applications, including label and web printing and converting, sheetfed and web offset printing, as well as industrial and specialist UV projects.
