Italian label and packaging manufacturer Carby Label has purchased a fourth printing press from Lombardi Converting Machinery, extending a long-standing partnership between the two companies and supporting plans to increase production capacity in the flexible packaging sector.
The new Invicta i1 670 press will be installed at Carby Label’s production facility in Casamassima, near Bari. The investment is intended to support the company’s expansion into flexible packaging while increasing production capacity for customers in the fruit and vegetable packaging market.
Featuring a 670mm web width, the Invicta i1 670 is designed to bridge traditional label production and wider web flexible packaging applications. According to Lombardi, the inline flexo press offers high levels of automation, faster job changeovers, print consistency and production flexibility.
