US-based provider of label solutions Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) has purchased two Bobst Master M6 inline flexographic printing presses to support its operations in EMEA.

One press has gone to MCC Daventry, UK, while the other has gone to MCC Heiligenstadt, Germany.

The press purchases are part of MCC’s plan to increase its production efficiency and capacity in the region, and continues the company’s long-standing relationship with Swiss manufacturer Bobst.

Chris Gannon, vice president of operations for MCC’s EMENA division, said the investment aligns with the company’s broader growth strategy. “Our decision reflects a clear commitment to strengthening our production capabilities and meeting the evolving needs of our customers across the EMEA region,” he said.

The Master M6 presses include automated features such as DigiFlexo technology, oneECG colour processing, and tools to speed up job changeovers. According to Bobst, these features can reduce setup time and material waste while increasing production speed.

The equipment is designed to work with various materials, including film and paper, and includes automated settings to reduce manual input and maintain print consistency across different substrates.

MCC says the new presses will help the company respond more quickly to market demands and improve efficiency in its regional operations.
