Bobst and digital solutions provider Packitoo will exhibit together at the UK Corrugated Industry Trade Show on 6-7 October, showcasing technologies aimed at supporting digitalisation and connectivity across the packaging value chain.

Bobst will feature its Nova FFG flexo folder-gluer, VisionCut 1.6 | 1.6 PR Autoplaten die-cutter and ExpertFold 165 folder-gluer. The company will also highlight Bobst Connect, its cloud-based platform for turning machine data into information to support production planning and decision-making.

Packitoo will join Bobst with CEO Thomas Othax and customer success manager Maxime Celda presenting HIPE, its digital sales platform for corrugated packaging businesses.

“Both Bobst and Packitoo share a vision of a digital future for the packaging industry, where data and software play a key role in enhancing productivity, efficiency, and sustainability,” said Craig Moran, managing director of Bobst UK and Ireland. “HIPE is a perfect fit for our industry vision, allowing converters to quote jobs rapidly and accurately to clients, considering all cost factors, like machine types used. It provides a valuable solution for our customers to automate and optimise their sales processes.”

Mr Othax said the partnership with Bobst has given Packitoo access to additional resources, industry expertise and networks, helping it work with UK corrugated converters. He said Packitoo aims to move converters from reactive quoting towards more proactive, data-driven sales processes. He added that HIPE’s new AI Agents module is designed to improve accuracy and profitability earlier in the sales pipeline, with individual AI agents performing roles including business analysis, technical expertise and structural design. The platform can also connect these agents with ERP and MIS data, enabling converters to build feedback loops and apply the resulting knowledge in live operations.
