Bobst and print consultant Co-ëfficiënt are set to host “From Theory to Performance”, an open house at Bobst’s Atlanta Competence Center in Cumming, Georgia, US, on 17-18 November 2026 which will focus on practical ways to improve OEE, throughput, consistency and waste through stronger process control, standardisation, automation and data.
Led by John Anderson, director, North America operations and consulting at Co-ëfficiënt, the programme will examine how converters can move from broad discussions about efficiency to identifying measurable opportunities for improvement. Topics will include OEE, uptime, throughput, waste and production consistency.
Attendees will also be able to see how process control and standardisation can support more predictable results from job to job and improve efficiency across production lines.
“Converters are under constant pressure to produce more while maintaining quality and controlling costs. This event is designed to connect the individual parts of the workflow and show where practical improvements can begin,” explained Katie Graham, MarCom director Americas at Bobst. “By bringing Co-ëfficiënt’s operational perspective together with the technology and demonstration capabilities of the Atlanta Competence Center, we can productively lead the conversation from individual features to measurable production outcomes.”
A key area of the programme will be process stability and its role in making extended colour gamut (ECG) printing a repeatable production practice at scale, said Bobst. Sessions will examine the importance of disciplined job preparation, standardised setup, operator confidence and reliable data in achieving the quality and efficiency benefits associated with ECG.
The programme will connect these process-improvement principles with demonstrations across the production workflow.
“Most operations already know the outcomes they want – more uptime, less waste, and stronger throughput – but they do not always have a clear view of where performance is being lost,” said Mr Anderson of Co-ëfficiënt. “Our goal is to help attendees better understand those gaps and identify practical steps they can evaluate within their own operations.”
The event is aimed at plant managers, operations leaders, production and quality teams, process engineers, prepress and print leaders, as well as converters exploring ECG, automation or workflow standardisation.
Attendees registering for the first day, 17 November, will also have the opportunity to attend an offsite evening networking reception following the programme.
