Provider of pressure‑sensitive films and adhesive solution Flexcon has released its “2025 Annual Sustainability Impact Report”, outlining progress toward its long-term environmental and corporate responsibility objectives.

According to the report, the company diverted 76% of total waste from landfill and completed modernisation work at its Glenrothes manufacturing facility, which led to a 30% reduction in gas usage compared with previous equipment.

The report also highlights external recognition for the company’s sustainability efforts. Flexcon North America received the EcoVadis Committed Badge in 2025, while Flexcon Europe achieved an EcoVadis Bronze Sustainability Rating, reflecting progress across environmental impact, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.

Flexcon said it has aligned its sustainability strategy with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), integrating the framework into its broader approach to social and environmental responsibility.

Innovation and circularity remained key areas of focus, with the report detailing developments including a polypropylene film containing 30% post-consumer recycled content for the US market, alongside continued work on wash-off technologies.

Dan Riendeau, senior director product management and corporate sustainability at Flexcon, commented: “By reducing waste, optimizing resources, and continuously improving manufacturing processes, Flexcon is making a measurable impact and creating lasting value for customers, communities, and the environment.”
