Edale has appointed Rob Brown as its new sales and marketing director. The company says the hire comes as it prepares to launch updated versions of its CartonLine and LabelLine ranges in 2026.

Mr Brown has nearly 30 years of experience in the print and technology sectors. He previously served as sales director for Northwest Europe and export at OKI Europe and has held senior roles focused on market development and customer engagement. In his new role, Mr Brown will oversee Edale’s global sales operations, marketing strategy and channel partnerships, covering both label and folding-carton markets.

Edale managing director Lachlan Buirds said Mr Brown will play an important role as the company prepares for its upcoming product releases. “As we prepare for a major 2026 push with our new CartonLine and LabelLine platforms, Rob will be key to shaping our global go-to-market strategy,” Mr Buirds said. “His track record in building high-performance sales teams and bringing complex technical solutions to market aligns perfectly with Edale’s ambition.”

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Brown said: “Edale is perfectly positioned to help customers future proof their business for where the market is heading: more automation, more single-pass capability, and more converters broadening their offering across labels and cartons. I’m excited to help shape a global strategy that turns Edale’s technology into real competitive advantage for our customers.”

Edale is expected to release further information about its new machine portfolio in the near future.
