Provider of reprographics, platemaking and artwork adaptation services, The Greenhouse has chosen Leeds for its new custom-built ‘centre for excellence’.

The Greenhouse operates from nine locations across Britain, from Newcastle to London, and the latest will form the hub and flagship, linking all nine sites via super green, high-tech integration and remote proofing. This latest expansion relocates the company’s Yorkshire office from Sherburn to more fertile ground in Leeds city centre, and marks the beginning of a new season in growth and scope of operations, said the company.

With its high data area, business community and creative buzz, the new site is well-placed for business development in its proximity to some of Britain’s biggest brands.

The company intends for the new workspace to encourage creativity and to help attract additional high quality people to further grow the teams diversity and talent. Currently employing 32 staff across the country, plans for further employment are already underway and bearing fruit.

Through investment in new technologies and people, The Greenhouse has become recognised as a pioneer in the European graphic arts community, delivering new and diverse technologies to their market.  Reprographic and platemaking operations run 24 hours in order to provide the quick turnaround essential to the fast-paced packaging sector.

In 2012, the company introduced its Absolute 3d proofing system which provides product accurate three dimensional samples in virtual and augmented environments for the marketeer to better visualise on-shelf placement of pack concepts.
