Omet has appointed Printpac as its official distributor for the UK and Ireland, with the partnership set to provide local sales support for the Italian manufacturer’s printing and converting machinery.
Printpac’s activities in the two markets will be led by Neil Stephenson, who has more than 25 years of experience in the printing industry. The partnership will give customers access to Omet’s technology, alongside local sales assistance and Omet’s technical and after-sales support.
Headquartered in Molteno, Italy, Omet manufactures narrow- and mid-web printing and converting machinery for the label and packaging sectors. The company has more than 60 years of industry experience and installations worldwide.
Its press platforms use a modular, multi-technology approach, allowing configurations to be adapted to individual production requirements. The systems can combine printing, finishing and converting processes in a single pass.
