ThermoFlexX will be a key player at the forthcoming Xeikon Café, where the imager manufacturer will be demonstrating a ThermoFlexX 30 model.
The event is an opportunity to view new technologies from Xeikon and its Aura Partners – the wide cross section of industry suppliers who also participate. The next Xeikon Café will be held at the company’s production site in Lier, Belgium, from 20-22 May, and will focus on packaging innovations.
‘There has been tremendous interest in ThermoFlexX and its imager technology over the last few months so this forthcoming Xeikon Café is perfectly timed for us to demonstrate the many unique features incorporated into the range,’ said Christophe Lievens, director sales and marketing. ‘The theme of ‘packaging innovations’ is also ideal as the packaging sector is a huge potential market for us.’
The ThermoFlexX 30, with a maximum plate size of 635 mm x 500 mm, is aimed at the label and folding carton sectors. The imager comes as standard with resolutions of 2400 dpi and 2540 dpi and there is the option to have 4000 dpi, 4800 dpi or even 5080 dpi, which allows extremely fine quality print with excellent detail. By selecting the most suitable resolution users can tailor plate output precisely to the work being produced.
