US-based flexo trade body, the FTA, has announced details of the content that will be on offer at its Forum & Infoflex 2024 event in Kansas City, MO, in May.

The event – which is a mix of conference and exhibition across four days – will have a strong flavour of ‘the customer’, with numerous representatives from ‘Consumer Product Companies’ (CPCs), brand owners and print buyers delivering insights on their packaging-related challenges.

The event will begin with ‘The Voice of the Customer’ – a panel discussion on these challenges and how the flexo industry can deliver value by improving print quality, driving efficiency and delivering on consumer demands. Participants from Kraft Heinz, Instinct Pet Food, Tyson Foods and Georgia-Pacific have been announced.

‘Their focus will be on quality, sustainability and efficiency, with the understanding that flexographic packaging production is not the only part of their packaging supply ecosystem,’ said Ben Abray of Autumn Graphics and Kevin Bourquin of Cyber Graphics, both of whom are to chair the session.

FTA said that CPCs will also be speaking in multiple Forum sessions, while Infoflex will feature a new CPC ‘meet and greet’ on the show floor, dedicated to networking and connecting.

‘Since launching the CPC Awareness Campaign earlier this year, we’ve been blown away by the results,’ said Brad Pareso, president of FTA. ‘With Forum & Infoflex 2024, there is an even deeper integration between the events and the campaign’s goal of CPC engagement, and we look forward to an extremely strong turnout as a result.’

Registration for the event, which takes place from 5-8 May 2024, is open.
