Reflex Etikett, part of the international Reflex Group, has installed a Nilpeter FA-22 flexo press at its Norwegian operation, adding capacity while continuing the group’s move towards a standardised production platform across its manufacturing sites.
The installation extends the long-standing relationship between Reflex Group and Nilpeter. The group now operates 17 Nilpeter presses across its international production network, following recent investments in the UK and the United States.
The FA-22 brings the same FA-Line platform used at other Reflex facilities to the Norwegian operation. According to the companies, the common platform is intended to support production flexibility, consistent print quality and the transfer of jobs between manufacturing sites.
Based in Norway, Reflex Etikett produces self-adhesive labels and packaging solutions for a range of industries. The new press adds production capacity and supports the company’s focus on efficiency, automation and print quality.
The FA-22 also expands the range of applications that Reflex Etikett can produce while maintaining the production standards used elsewhere in the group. Standardising equipment and workflows across sites is intended to make it easier to move work between facilities and maintain continuity when required.
Ian Kendall, founder and chief executive of Reflex Group, commented: “The installation in Norway is another important milestone in our strategy of creating a unified production platform across the Group. We know exactly what we get with the FA-Line – reliable performance, outstanding print quality, and a platform that supports both today’s production requirements and our future ambitions. It allows us to operate more efficiently across multiple countries while giving our customers complete confidence in the consistency of our products.”
The Norwegian installation is the latest in a series of FA-Line investments by Reflex Group as it develops its international manufacturing network.
David Kitson, managing director of Nilpeter UK, said: “Seeing the FA-Line platform continue to expand throughout the Reflex Group is something we’re incredibly proud of. The installation at Reflex Etikett in Norway is another example of how a common technology platform can help large print groups standardise production, improve flexibility, and support future growth. We greatly value the partnership with Reflex and look forward to continuing the journey together.”
The investment continues Reflex Group’s adoption of Nilpeter’s FA-Line platform across its production sites, with the company citing standardisation and production flexibility as key considerations in its equipment strategy.
