Amtech Software has announced the agenda for its 2026 Amtech User Conference, which will take place from 11–14 October 2026 at the Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown in the US.
The fifth edition of the event is expected to bring together around 300 packaging executives, technology leaders and plant operations professionals. The programme will cover AI, cybersecurity, operational efficiency and business growth, with sessions examining how technology investments can support measurable business outcomes.
“Packaging manufacturers are navigating significant change, from evolving market conditions and continued pressure on margins to cybersecurity and the rapid emergence of AI,” said Chuck Schneider, CEO of Amtech Software. “Our user conference is an opportunity to bring the industry together around those challenges and have practical conversations about what manufacturers can do to operate more efficiently, compete more effectively and prepare their businesses for what’s next.”
Ryan Fox, corrugated market analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence and managing editor of the Green Markets Box Report, will deliver the keynote address. His presentation will examine corrugated demand, pricing and capacity as the industry approaches 2027.
“Heading into 2027, the corrugated packaging industry is navigating one of its most consequential periods of transition in years, as stubbornly weak box demand collides with shifting containerboard capacity, mill closures and conversions, major capital investment and a challenging pricing environment,” Mr Fox said. “I’ll examine what these changes tell us about where the industry is headed and what the corrugated market may look like when demand finally returns.”
Mr Schneider will also discuss how packaging manufacturers can position their businesses for growth amid ongoing technological change.
Danna Nelson, Amtech’s senior vice president of product, is scheduled to present the latest developments in Amtech Intelligence and its corrugated solutions, as well as the company’s wider product roadmap for 2027.
