Cumberland Packaging, a corrugated and solid board packaging plant in Southend-on-Sea, UK, has chosen an ERP platform from Amtech Software, seeking greater visibility across its operations.
Amtech’s EnCore ERP is designed specifically for corrugated and folding carton manufacturers and is used at more than 750 sites worldwide. The platform gives users actionable insights across estimating, order processing, logistics, production, quality, inventory, purchasing, and accounting.

The company hopes to gain end-to-end visibility across its production, inventory and delivery operations by implementing the Amtech software. As well as corrugated and solid board packaging, Cumberland produces converted polystyrene, foam and ancillary packaging materials for customers across the UK.
Amtech Software CEO Chuck Schneider said the installation at Cumberland would open the door to the packaging market in the UK & Ireland, where it already has a “strong foothold” in labels, and described Cumberland Packaging as a “forward-thinking, high-quality manufacturer”.
