Romanian packaging print converter Seen Print has installed a 510mm web Mark Andy Performance Series P7E press – a machine described as “ideally suited” to the range of packaging products the company produces.
Based in Cluj-Napoca, Seen Print supplies products to national and international brand owners in the food & beverage, cosmetic, chemical, automotive and pharmaceutical sectors. The new press, with eight flexo print stations and UV LED curing, handles a variety of substrates, including unsupported film, shrink films, in-mold labelling, self-adhesive stocks and light carton board up to 450 microns.
Seen Print’s Ionut Stef and Mihai Iuga said the new press will allow the company to expand its business, adding: “Our goal is to build long-lasting partnerships with our customers and suppliers to enable us to deliver quality products and services with consistency.”
The company expressed praise for Mark Andy’s “customer support, sales process, expertise and dedication”, and said the “sales and installation experience was great”.
“We are extremely flexible, open for new challenges and always mindful of the needs and requirements of our customers,” it added. “The new Mark Andy P7E is specified with many special modules and devices for custom applications. We are confident that it will grow our business.”
Florian Stroe, Mark Andy’s technical sales manager, said the P7E’s versatility makes it “ideal for the range of quality products Seen Print manufactures”.
