Italian packaging printer All Pack in Verona has invested in a new flexo printing line from Lombardi Converting Machinery – the Invicta i1 800 press for flexible packaging.
The mid-web press at All Pack has eight printing stations and UV LED curing technology and represents a “strategic investment” for the company, which “continues to focus on innovative and sustainable solutions”.
“With this investment, All Pack reaffirms its commitment to seeking advanced solutions for an ever-evolving packaging market, combining industrial growth with sustainability,” the company said.
According to Lombardi, the Invicta i1 800 line stands out for its low energy consumption and adoption of DC bus technology, which recovers energy generated by motors in negative torque and reuses it within the circuit, improving overall efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
Nicola Lombardi, marketing manager at Lombardi Converting, commented: “This is a great milestone for us – there are very few manufacturers offering this type of mid-web sleeve technology for flexible packaging, and we are heavily investing in it.”
