Alphasonics has launched ‘Alphasonics GO’, which it is calling the world’s first anilox cleaner subscription service.
Aimed at label printers specifically, this service includes a brand new Melanie bench-top cleaning machine, all related consumables and annual servicing for a monthly subscription fee.
David Jones, managing director, said, ‘Label Printers are constantly striving to meet exacting demands of the brands they supply. This subscription service provides medical grade anilox cleaning which means consistent cleanliness of their anilox rolls which allows better print and a tighter control over the print process. We’re bringing the very best anilox cleaning available anywhere to every print shop, regardless of size.’
All systems will contain Alphasonics’ patented cleaning technology which is also utilised in the medical industry. Alphasonics GO is also aimed at streamlining the purchasing process, with customers being able to purchase directly through the Alphasonics website or over the phone with the help of staff.
Customers simply select the machine they require based on their anilox size and fill out their details. Upgrades such as filtration systems and automatic chemical dosing can also be selected if required. Written performance and safety guarantees are also supplied with the subscription.
Whilst this is subscription service, which launched over the summer, is targeted at label printers specifically at this stage, Mr Jones claims that plans are in place to roll the service out for larger systems.
Mr Jones added, ‘Whilst this is primarily aimed at our smaller machines, this is definitely something that is scalable. The idea is to supply exactly what the customer needs based on their consumption depending on the size of the anilox. We want to reduce costs and waste, whilst bringing the quality of anilox cleaning to a new level right across the industry. Alphasonics GO does exactly that.’
