ProPrint Group, the Northamptonshire-based company that grew out of a 2015 merger between CopyPoll and Promo Labels, has opened a third premises in Wellingborough. The 33,000sqft warehouse and office facility will serve as a customer service hub for the growing company, as well as providing additional storage space for stock materials.

According to the company, which prints labels and packaging using both flexo and digital technology, the new site will allow it to provide both excellent customer service and efficient stock control. Regarding the former, two large boardrooms at the new site will be used to welcome existing and new ProPrint Group customers for updates, press passes and training. The company has also appointed a new transport manager to support continued expansion and strengthened its courier management in order to better monitor all its deliveries.

Alongside customer service, ProPrint will also use the site for material stock management and has implemented a bespoke stock management system to allow staff to ‘easily and efficiently’ access printed label or material stocks. Key features of the new system include all stock being fully managed using barcode scanning, the system itself being accessible via phone or tablet and the centralisation and organisation of more complex specification data. The company believes that all this will allow it to support support increased productivity and flexibility for its customers.
