Comexi has completed the first remote installation of one its laminators during the Coronavirus pandemic.

The installation took place at the Plásticos Correa plant in Medellín, Colombia and included of the assembly of a Comexi SL3 solventless laminator sold by Eduardo López, a Comexi agent.

Plant manager Ricardo Posada said that his company, which specialises in flexible packaging for the food and pharmaceutical sectors, had acquired the laminator in order to, ‘Produce a variety of laminated containers, principally for the food industry, as well as for the production of a 100% polyolefin pouch, which can be recycled with traditional machines.’
