JM Heaford has announced organisational changes to its North American operations as part of a drive to ‘ensure consistency and ongoing progress’. As part of the plan, David Muncaster will be adding sales in the region to his responsibilities.

Mr Muncaster joined JM Heaford as director of operations and business development in 2016, with a broad remit to deliver continuous capability and productivity improvements for customers. Since then he has implemented initiatives to improve efficiencies both internally and externally, with an emphasis on creating opportunities for customers of any size, from start-ups to multinationals.

‘As we continue to make great progress there is an obvious synergy between my role in operations/product development and the diverse US market,’ he explained. ‘North America is our single biggest market overall and has our largest installed base. At the same time, it also encompasses the widest range of production setups, going from vast and very complex operations right down to ‘mom and pop’ outfits. In getting to know those customers more closely I am gathering insights that feed directly into new product development.’

Mr Muncaster takes over his new role from Sally-Anne Heaford, allowing her to focus on the business as a whole and its global positioning. For most customers, these changes will have no effect on their day-to-day sales contact. US Flexo Solutions and Canflexographics continue to represent Heaford in the US and Canada respectively.
