The third Gallus ECS 340 to be installed in Greece within the last three years has landed at Thessaloniki-based Batsios Labels.

The press, Bastios’ first from Gallus, is a conventional press for the production of self-adhesive labels. It has eight flexo units as well as one screen unit, a printing width of 340mm and also offers cold-foil embossing.

Bastios Labels, which was established in 1989, says the press has offered it increased productivity, a wider range of substrate and colour options as well as being well on the way to paying for itself. ‘For six months now we are getting each day more and more acquainted with the machine,’ said Andreas Nikoletsopoulos, business development manager at Batsios Labels. ‘We are delighted to see that our investment is already starting to pay off.

‘Everything runs smoothly and efficiently. We are happy with our new Gallus ESC 340 and we have already started looking for ways to add another Gallus machine to our company.’
