Daco Solutions has added Quik Stik-Xygraphix to its growing list of customers in North America with the recent installation of the 330 Combi Turret Rewinder.

Established in 1957, the company has grown into one of New England’s major label manufacturers producing a wide range of product labels.

With the recent additions of an HP Indigo WS4600 digital label press and a Grafisk Maskinfabrik [GM] DC330 finishing device, it places a high emphasis on researching into purchasing equipment to run a successful operation.

Having looked at a wide range of portable turret rewinders, the company decided that the inline/offline capability of the machine gave it the flexibility that is not easily available with other turret rewinders.

‘The Daco Combi 330 has run perfectly without interruption since its installation and has proven to be a valuable addition to our operation,’ said Robert Karess, president. ‘It is incredibly user friendly, has a small footprint, and is far less intimidating than other turret rewinders we considered. We really feel that this machine provides us with measurable value as it was considerably lower in cost than some of its competitors and performs as well if not better than other machines costing much more.’

John Douglas, operation manager, added, ‘This machine may not have all the bells and whistles as some other turret rewinders but it produces finished rolls of labels quickly and with minimal waste. There are less moving parts to this machine and you can tell that a good deal of thought went into its engineering.’
