Italian-based manufacturer of self-adhesive materials, Ritrama, is leaving its office in Eccles to take over a 115,000 sq ft modern building at Tameside Park, Dukinfield.

The new UK base will be fitted with state-of-the-art equipment able to satisfy the most demanding technical requirements.

The company, who will be bringing 70 jobs with them, has an expansion plan in place that will create training and employment opportunities for Tameside residents.

Cllr John Taylor, deputy leader of Tameside Council, said, ‘This is the latest high-profile company to establish a presence in Tameside which is rapidly making a name for itself as a business-friendly location.

‘The council has helped Ritrama throughout the process, identifying suitable premises and supporting them with their relocation plans. We look forward to the creation of lots of jobs over the coming years.’

Mark Evans, managing director of Ritrama UK, added, ‘We are delighted to be moving to Dukinfield. We hope to bring new jobs, establish apprenticeships, and grow the company for both the benefit of Ritrama and the borough of Tameside.’
