Siegfried Müller, director of marketing and sales at Zeller+Gmelin

German ink manufacturer, Zeller+Gmelin, began its business producing speciality lubricants, industrial chemicals and printing inks in 1866, and will celebrate its 150th anniversary with a two-day ceremony in September.

‘We are proud to be able to look back on a successful 150-year history as one of the few independent companies,’ said Siegfried Müller, director of marketing and sales. ‘We want to continue to offer secure jobs for the people in the region of Eislingen also in the future – an occasion that we will truly celebrate in September.’

The company will mark the one and a half centuries’ success story with an anniversary celebration from 22-24 September. Customers, business partners and guests from business and politics are invited and Zeller+Gmelin will give tours of the premises, including the technical centre as well as special topic areas.

In 2014, the Zeller+Gmelin Group generated a turnover of €269 million. The family-owned company currently employs around 900 people worldwide.
