Bernard Grob worked as sales manager, managing director and export sales director during his 30 years at Edale

Former managing director of Edale, Bernhard Grob has announced his retirement at age of 65, having worked at the company for 30 years in various positions.

In 1987 Bernhard Grob joined Edale, supplier of high technology, narrow mid-web flexographic and digital printing presses and converting equipment, as the European sales manager and shortly became managing director.  After stepping down from the post in 2000, Mr Grob took up the role of export sales director to focus on growing Edale overseas.

‘I would like to take this opportunity to say goodbye and thank you to the many people I have met and friends I have made all over the world during my career,’ said Mr Grob. ‘I will continue to be active within the industry, passing on my experience and sharing knowledge.’

Mr Grob’s plan is to focus on spending more time with his family while continuing to remain active as a consultant within the narrow web industry.

Edale has taken the opportunity to strengthen its sales team and appoint two new sales managers. Darren Pickford joins Edale as sales manager and Simon Cosh joins Edale in January 2017 as UK sales manager.
