The Tool Box provides a practical best practice reference document for printers and suppliers that aim to improve their flexo performance
Kodak has committed to become a supporter of the Flexo Best Practice Tool Box from FTA Europe.
Kodak has recently opened its Flexo Hub in Brussels, and in strengthening its cooperation with FTA Europe joins other companies that have previously committed to support the FBPTB such as Uteco, Asahi Photoproducts, Lohmann, I&C-Gama, Esko, Rossini, Praxair, RKPrint, ColorConsulting, and AV Flexologic-Tech Sleeves.
The project brings together international cross-industry expertise to provide a practical best practice reference document for printers and suppliers that aim to improve their flexo performance – including productivity, maintaining image and product quality, on-press operations, ink and drying systems and materials and substrates.
The FTA Europe Technical Working Group is working on the next chapters of the final document, after having concluded the first draft – the content of which is only accessible for supporting companies.
In addition to the Best Practice Tool Box, an Advisory Panel meeting has been organised and a new webinar aimed at involving the experts from supporting companies is in preparation. A promotional video is also now available on the FTA Europe website where all the information about presentation, structure and objectives of the Tool Box is reported.
Interested companies can still support the project, and FTA Europe is counting on them to provide both expertise and financial support for the creation of the final version of the Tool Box. Companies interested in supporting the Project can contact Luca Conti lconti@fta-europe.eu.
