Zeller+Gmelin North America has introduced the NuvaFlex 171 UV/LED ink series, a new addition to its NuvaFlex range of flexo inks for narrow web applications.
The company said the 171 Series is designed for demanding narrow web flexo applications, with a focus on fast curing, adhesion and colour strength. The range is intended for use in applications including labels, in-mold labelling (IML), flexible packaging and shrink sleeves, as well as on low-surface-energy substrates.
According to Zeller+Gmelin, the new series is aimed at high-speed label and narrow web converters addressing issues such as adhesion, consistency and colour vibrancy. The range includes process colours, extended colour gamut options, mixing bases, metallics, opaque whites and dense blacks.
