Screen Europe has appointed Marco Tornelli as EMEA CTP (computer-to-plate) sales manager. The appointment has been made to strengthen dealer partnerships across Europe.
Based in Amstelveen, the Netherlands, Mr Tornelli takes on the role of CTP inside sales and dealer contract coordinator, working to support Screen’s dealer network and customers across the region.
With more than 16 years of experience in the automotive and healthcare industries, he brings extensive expertise in managing dealer relationships and distribution networks. He previously developed incentive programmes and alignment strategies for sales partners in Latin America, earning a reputation for building commercially successful partnerships that encouraged growth and engagement.
In his new role, Mr Tornelli aims to strengthen Screen’s presence in the CTP market by deepening relationships with existing dealers and developing new partnerships that align with the company’s standards for quality, service, and reliability, the company stated.
Bui Burke, Screen Europe senior vice president sales, said: “At Screen, we see Computer-to-Plate solutions being an essential solution for the printing industry for many, many years to come. And while this existing technology has matured, we’re continuing to bring new innovations that will expand productivity and printing efficiency. And to ensure all our partners have full access to these solutions, and that they are properly supported, we knew we needed someone with the skills and experience to reenergise Screen’s relationship with our CTP dealers and users, which we found in Marco.”
Mr Tornelli said he was drawn to Screen’s reputation for reliable, in-house-developed technology and sees ongoing potential in offset printing despite market changes. “Volumes may be lower, but it can still be highly profitable if supported by efficient, modern solutions that enhances overall production efficiency to match high-volume printing runs,” he said.
He plans to focus initially on key markets in Germany, France, and Spain, developing communication strategies, aligning commercial objectives, and coordinating training programmes to help local partners maximise the company’s CTP technology.
