Flexible packaging manufacturer FOKA has announced its investment in a central impression (CI) flexographic printing press from German equipment supplier Allstein. The move marks the latest in a series of technology upgrades by the company as it continues to expand its production capabilities.

Based in Gornji Milanovac, Serbia, FOKA has been operating since 2000 and serves a range of customers across the Western Balkans. The company specialises in flexible packaging materials and has grown steadily through ongoing investments in technology and customer-specific product development.

Shareholder of the company Miroslav Radovanovic cited print quality, low start-up waste, and reduced makeready times as the primary reasons for selecting Allstein’s Sprint CI flexo press. “We were also impressed by Allstein’s technical expertise and their understanding of the flexographic printing process,” Mr Radovanovic said.

Allstein’s CI flexo presses are manufactured in Germany, with the company adding that its presses are known for their automation features and short changeover times. The Sprint model selected by FOKA is designed for high efficiency in short and long print runs, Allstein explained.

Commenting on the partnership, Danilo Vaskovic, sales and marketing director at Allstein, said he looked forward to supporting FOKA in scaling its operations. “This installation will help FOKA improve productivity and meet the evolving demands of its customers,” he said.

The new press is expected to enhance FOKA’s printing capabilities and support continued growth in the competitive flexible packaging sector.
