BoxWay Packaging Group has appointed Vince McDermott as operations director and Gabriel Ciubotariu as production manager at its Exeter facility, located on the Sowton Industrial Estate.
Mr McDermott joins BoxWay on an interim six-month basis, during which time he will focus on overseeing production, quality, health, safety and environmental (QHSE) standards, logistics, and engineering. He brings experience from the corrugated packaging industry, having previously held roles at DS Smith, Atlas Packaging, and most recently SFL in Barnstaple.
Mr Ciubotariu takes on the role of production manager, where he will be responsible for daily production performance, execution of production plans, and shopfloor staffing. He joins from Welton & Bibby in Westbury and has held previous roles in corrugated packaging both in the UK and Romania.
