Avery Dennison has promoted Li Wen to the role of general manager, graphics, Label and Graphic Materials (LGM) for the EMENA region.

Mr Wen, who has been the company’s business director/general manager responsible for graphics, north Asia-Pacific since joining Avery Dennison in January 2019, has relocated from Shanghai, China to Oegstgeest, Netherlands to fulfil his new role. He reports to Hassan Rmaile, vice president and general manager, Avery Dennison LGM, EMENA.

Mr Rmaile said that the appointment reflects both Mr Wen’s ‘resilient leadership’ whilst managing the Covid crisis, as well as his extensive industry experience and passion for disruptive thinking and execution of strategic innovative ideas.

‘Our focus on profitable growth will be an essential part of Li’s new role. Our continued laser focus on innovation and new business models in high value and high performance graphics solutions means that we are very well placed to support our stakeholders across the whole value chain.’

Mr Wen said, ‘We have shown what can be done with innovative products in graphics, most notably in the automotive aftermarket, as confirmed by many recent key account wins. I have high confidence that we will gain further momentum, given the quality of our portfolio, our strong channel network and our strong EMENA installers network.’
