Abbott Label installs ABG’s Vectra

A B Graphic International (ABG) has supplied Abbott Label, a US-based label manufacturing company, with a Vectra ECTR 4 spindle turret rewinder.
The Vectra ECTR 17in (440mm) supplied to Abbott Label can run at a top speed of 150m/min, helping the company to increase workflow efficiencies and reduce lead times. It is also fully upgradable with a wide range of options, including automatic core loading, finished roll closure with print and apply label application, and ABG’s fleyeVision 100% camera inspection system.

Established in 2001, Abbott Label consists of four ed manufacturing facilities based in Dallas, Georgia, California and Illinois. Operating Mark Andy flexo presses, up to 20 inches wide and up to eight colours. Additional capabilities at its other sites include an HP Indigo WS6900 and a Domino N610i.
