Global Graphics is hosting a worldwide ‘virtual’ rollout on 28 April to unveil the software platform it would have introduced at drupa. 

Despite the exhibition being moved to 2021 Global Graphics Software, Meteor Inkjet and Xitron still plan to showcase their latest offerings this year.

‘We stand shoulder to shoulder with our industry colleagues, partners and employees during this difficult periodand look forward to participating in drupa in April of next year,’ said Global Graphics’ CEO Mike Rottenborn. ‘In the meantime we are not treading water, in fact, we are accelerating our plans to launch Direct, a major new software platform for digital presses, with a worldwide ‘virtual’ rollout scheduled for 28 April.

‘Direct is the first fully integrated product line from Global Graphics, featuring our unparalled Harlequin RIP technology, Mako for file optimisation, our award-winning ScreenPro and PrintFlat products for inkjet digital printing, tight integration with printhead drive electronics and software from Meteor Inkjet, workflow for labels and packaging from our partner Hybrid Software, and the global reseller network of our newest subsidiary, Xitron.’
