Bury-based Connect Schawk, one of Europe’s largest flexographic origination providers, is celebrating after achieving an exceptional score of 98% on test run by Flint Group.
The photopolymer plate department underwent rigorous testing over two days by a team of industry specialists from Flint Group Flexographic to gain the status of ‘Accredited Photopolymer Plate Manufacturer’.
In gaining this prestigious accreditation the site scored the highest marks ever achieved in Europe. This is the second time they have achieved this accolade within the last three years, scoring higher marks for their plate quality this time.
Commenting on this achievement, Jim McCormack the managing director of Connect Schawk said ‘We are proud of this certification coming as it does exactly twenty years since Dave Piercy, Geoff Walton and I started this business.
