Moroccan company Imprimerie Ideale has purchased a second eight colour Edale FL5 with flatbed die cutter, two years after installing its first.

The new machine, 510mm wide, comes with a screen module as well as a rotary die station for inline die cutting, embossing and sheeting. It has the ability to combine print, cut, crease and braille as well as embossing and removing the waste within a single machine, making it ideal for short run carton work.

‘Imprimerie Ideale has reaped the benefits of producing folding cartons in a single pass with the FL5 and they have proved this by ordering a second machine within a short period of time.’ said James Boughton, Edale’s managing director. ‘The FL5 press a unique solution and has the ability to run substrates up to 700 micron. We are really pleased to be working alongside Ideale to futureproof their business.’
