The DFTA’s Printing Technology Institute for flexography and packaging printing, in Stuttgart, will be targeting English speakers with an advanced flexography course in December. The course is suitable for flexographic beginners and advanced specialists, apprentices, people with skills in other printing methods or packaging applications, as well as flexo press operators and pre-press specialists.

Covering technical details and particularities of high quality flexo technology, it will introduce flexography and other printing methods on a beginner level, then turn to advanced levels of pre-press including repro and platemaking. Further advanced topics covered comprise printing inks, colourimetry and colour measurement, anilox rollers, press speed, impression, measurement technology and trouble shooting, with intensive practical exercises on the centre’s full scale CI printing press.

Speakers include Prof Dr Martin Dreher and B. Eng. Dietmar Wolf. Please contact seminare@dfta.de for more information.
