This investment has been madeto ensure that the team can quickly and reliably respond to customer calls and provide the premium service expected from the high quality plate solutions Asahi deliver.

The company recognises that the key to minimising downtime and waste in the UK flexo printing industry is having machine and plate experts available, when and where printers need them, to get lines up and running as quickly as possible. The service supports flexo printers on site with print characteristic data, enabling them to avoid distortion in their imagery. The printing engineers will ensure optimised plate performance in the printing press to improve press stability. This involves measuring and analysing the plate printing characteristics, as well as the auditing and maintenance of the platemaking equipment.
