The Reflex Group has acquired Century Arts Ltd, based in Ilkeston Derbyshire, to enable Reflex to offer its customers a broader range of flexible packaging products.
Century Art is the first in a pipeline of acquisitions that the group has lined up for completion in 2015. The Reflex Group is a privately owned business with a turnover of around £65 million and previous acquisitions include Tag Products in 2014 and Labelsco in 2012.
The group will keep the business at its current site and make investments in new machinery and increase the size of the work force.
Ian Kendall, Reflex managing director, said, ‘We are pleased to be able to announce our purchase of Century Art Ltd. It’s a great business and it allows us to extend the product range we can offer our existing customers and it brings a bunch of new customers to the fold as well. We have been working on a number innovative new products and this acquisition enables us to bring them to market sooner.’
