AVT’s new president of European operations, Walter Nackaerts
Walter Nackaerts will join AVT as president of European operations.
Mr Nackaerts, who will be based in Mechelen, Belgium, brings more than 25 years of experience to the company from a broad range of managerial positions at multinational companies in the printing and healthcare industries.
Most recently, he served as managing director of emerging markets for Agfa Graphics and was responsible for go to market strategies, sales and service for the newspaper, commercial, packaging and sign and display sectors.
Mr Nackaerts began his career with Xerox where, during his 13 year tenure, he accrued a wealth of experience in sales, marketing and service in the European marketplace, eventually gaining appointment as head of the company’s development center for digital printing solutions in the UK.
