UK-based prepress company Hamillroad Software has approved DuPont Cyrel EASY Plates for use with Bellissima Digitally Modulated Screening (DMS).

Hamillroad CEO, Andy Cave said, ‘Working with the team at DuPont, we were able to achieve excellent results on press. We have been able to fine-tune the solution to ensure the best possible results for the printer, and in addition to this, we have also been able to reduce machine issues. We believe the technology solution is transformative and will enable flexographic printers to push the envelope of what is currently possible in flexo.’

‘Bellissima DMS is a great technology extension for our Cyrel EASY Plate portfolio, which further helps reduce the quality gap between gravure and flexo printing.  Our customers can use this technology to expand the flexo footprint in the market,’ commented Sam Ponzo, Americas sales director, DuPont Advanced Printing.

Bellissima DMS is distributed by Apex International, also part of a joint venture with Hamillroad Software – Aniken Graphics International – created to bring Bellissima Digitally Modulated Screening into the flexographic mainstream.

Nick Harvey, MD of Aniken Graphics International said, ‘The addition of DuPont is a significant endorsement of the Bellissima DMS technology. This partnership in combination with Apex, and its patented GTT engraving, further demonstrates the total solution and support approach we are bringing to the flexographic industry.’
