Eclipse Packaging is continuing to expand its production capabilities as growing demand drives investment in new capacity at its Kingsville, Ontario, Canada, facility.

Following the installation of its first 17-inch, 12-colour Nilpeter press with advanced embellishment capabilities in 2024, Eclipse Packaging was able to broaden the range of demanding applications it could handle while establishing a flexible production platform for future growth.

The results have exceeded expectations. Less than two years after the initial investment, increasing demand has led Eclipse Packaging to order a second 12-colour Nilpeter FA-22 press, scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2026.

The new press is expected to add further productivity, flexibility and automation to the company’s operation, increasing its capacity as Eclipse Packaging continues to develop its customer base and production capabilities.

The investment also coincides with the company’s move into a new production facility. Once installed, the FA-22 will operate alongside the existing Nilpeter press, creating a larger and more flexible production platform designed to support the company’s next stage of growth.

With the additional capacity available from the two presses, Eclipse Packaging will be better positioned to manage increasing volumes while maintaining the quality and range of services that have underpinned its expansion.

“When we installed our first Nilpeter press in 2024, we knew we had invested in a platform we could build our business around,” says Keith Pickard, owner and president of Eclipse Packaging. “The performance, reliability and support we’ve experienced gave us the confidence to invest in a second Nilpeter. As we move into our new facility, the FA-22 will play a key role in helping us continue our growth and serve our customers even better.”

The investment reflects the progress Eclipse Packaging has made since bringing its first Nilpeter press into production, as well as its focus on ensuring that production capacity keeps pace with customer requirements.

“Watching a company like Eclipse Packaging grow this quickly is exactly why we do what we do,” says John Crammer, sales consultant at Nilpeter USA. “Keith and his team have built something special, and it’s been a pleasure to support that journey. The fact that Eclipse is already investing in a second Nilpeter is the strongest endorsement we could ask for. We’re excited to deliver the new 12-colour FA-22 later this year and see both presses running side by side in their impressive new facility.”

With the new FA-22 due to arrive in the second half of 2026, Eclipse Packaging is now entering its next phase with increased production capacity, greater flexibility and a new facility designed to support continued expansion.
