VPK Group has acquired Fencor Packaging Group, the owner of Manor Packaging, after initially acquiring a minority stake in the business in 2024.
Based in Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire, Manor Packaging operates a manufacturing facility supported by storage and warehousing operations, serving customers across the UK.
Following the transaction, Manor Packaging will continue to operate as a stand-alone business within VPK Group. The company said this structure is intended to provide continuity for customers and employees while enabling Manor Packaging to benefit from VPK’s wider network and expertise. Manor Packaging will also continue its trading relationship with Corrboard UK, which is majority owned by VPK.
Martin Taylor, managing director of VPK UK & Ireland, said: “Manor Packaging is a well invested and agile organisation, known for its high service levels and close relationships with customers. We look forward to supporting the business in its next phase of growth.”
David Orr, group managing director of Fencor Packaging Group, said: “We are pleased to see Manor Packaging become part of a long-term, family-owned company with similar values and a strong footprint in the UK. This provides a solid foundation for the company and its people to continue growing and delivering exceptional service and value to customers in the years ahead.”
Mr Orr is set to retire after 26 years leading the business. Tony Clifton, currently sales director, will continue to lead Manor Packaging as managing director following the acquisition.
