Adapa Group has expanded its printing capacity with the installation of two new presses from Uteco – one flexographic and one rotogravure – as part of its ongoing investment programme across Europe.
The new presses, now fully operational, enable printing in up to nine colours with both reverse and surface options. They also feature 100% full-width visual inspection and the ability to apply special lacquers or coatings, including on paper substrates. The additions, said adapa, significantly enhance its technical flexibility and print quality, supporting customers with high-performance, sustainable packaging solutions.
In addition to its printing investments, adapa has strengthened its extrusion operations at its Kempten facility in Germany with two new shrink film extrusion lines from Macro Engineering. The company said one line is already in full production, with the second due to start in early 2026.
The group is also modernising its converting network with new slitter machines at its sites in Poland and the Netherlands, reinforcing its machine park and production efficiency.
Alena Maran, head of strategy and marketing at adapa Group, said: “Continuous investment in advanced technology allows us to deliver innovative, high-performing and sustainable packaging solutions. These projects strengthen our ability to support customers reliably in the future and open new opportunities for collaboration.”
