Mark Andy is to run a flexo-based RFID workshop in Warsaw, Poland, in March 2026, aimed at label converters and printers, brand owners, and packaging and supply chain professionals, and covering the entire process of creating a smart label, from tag design and production to flexographic printing.

Scheduled for 12 March 2026 at the Mark Andy European Technology Center, the workshop will be delivered in co-operation with Talkin’ Things, a leading European specialist in the design and production of advanced RFID tags, capable of producing hundreds of millions of RFID tags per year.

During the event, RFID labels will be produced on a Mark Andy Evolution Series E5 flexo press, showing how smart labels can be produced within standard printing workflows. The workshop will also include key production preparation stages that directly impact quality, stability and repeatability. Discussions will include key market trends, regulatory challenges and the future of RFID.

Lena Chmielewska-Bontron, European marketing manager at Mark Andy, commented:
“The RFID workshop has a truly European scope and is aimed at professionals from different markets who want to take a comprehensive look at RFID technology – from tag design and production, through the printing process, to real market applications.

“Our co-operation with Talkin’ Things enables us to present a full range of competencies in this area and to show how different elements of RFID technology complement each other. We want to share knowledge and experience that help our customers prepare in an informed way for the next stages of development in the label and packaging market.”
