Four new highly specified flexo presses from Nilpeter will be split equally between sites in the US and UK, following Reflex Group’s latest investment round.
The FA-22 Line machines – some of which are already up and running, others to be commissioned in the coming months – include a range of advanced functionalities. These include screen printing, cold foil and multiple embellishment techniques. One of the presses is equipped with an integrated Pantec converting platform, enabling capabilities such as tactile and decorative finishes, complex multi-layer effects and premium brand enhancements.
The new equipment will enable Reflex to run everything from traditional labels to multi-layer constructions, peel-and-reveal up to nine pages, linerless solutions and a wide spectrum of self-adhesive packaging applications. The lines can also support light carton production with window patching and back-and-front labels on the same liner.
Ian Kendall, founder and chief executive of Reflex Group, commented: “Nilpeter has consistently proven to be the ultimate frontrunner in flexo and a true pioneer in innovation. Over many years we have built a strong and trusted relationship, and this latest investment reflects our confidence in both the technology and the people behind it.
“For us, Nilpeter presses are not just machines – they are enablers of growth, quality, and efficiency across our global business. With the new FA-22 Lines, we gain capabilities that go far beyond standard label production, offering the versatility and performance required to support our long-term strategy. We look forward to continuing this collaboration as we expand further into new markets.”
