Automated order intake, voice and language commands and smart onboarding and assistance are among the enhanced functionalities in Cerm’s MIS software for labels and packaging with the launch of its AI-based Cerm Copilot.

The latest artificial intelligence developments for Cerm come after it introduced Lumi, an AI-powered support chatbot, last year. Copilot includes a “powerful” suite of tools that Cerm says are designed to automate tasks, streamline communication and boost user productivity.

Copilot can read and understand unstructured emails, PDFs and Excel files to extract relevant order data that it enters directly into the MIS, triggering workflows automatically. Users can query data, generate reports and enter data faster and more easily using voice commands, while new users can learn the system more quickly, with navigating to the right screen or function becoming more intuitive.

Cerm will be showcasing Copilot at Labelexpo Europe 2025 next week.
