New Era Packaging, based in Co. Louth, Ireland, has joined Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) as of 2 February, in a 100% share purchase.
NEP specialises in healthcare and pharmaceutical printing and has a portfolio of several speciality label products including pressure-sensitive, peel-n-reseal, booklet, form, and brailed labels.
John Peat, joint managing director, said, ‘Both I and our management team are delighted to be joining MCC and are looking forward to the opportunities that this will bring. Joining MCC will ensure that our business will continue to grow and is best placed to leverage synergies within a market leader such as MCC. We are very excited about how this will enable us to develop and expand our product portfolio and enhance our service to our customers.’
The company will trade as MCC Ireland and will continue to be led by the current management team with Mr Peat, overseeing the plant in Co. Louth and future healthcare and pharmaceutical growth in Europe.
