Ultrachem, supplier of coatings and press room consumables, has appointed Geoff Woodacre as a new industry specialist for the flexo market.
Mr Woodacre will be the business development manager for Ultrachem’s Water based Flexo Division and joined the company in May this year.
He has an extensive portfolio of experience in the water based and UV flexo industry covering a span of 20 years. Initially he headed up a UK manufacturing subsidiary for Werneke Inks, a North American manufacturer of high quality water based inks and coatings. He has worked with T&K Toka of Japan, Akzo Nobel a major global ink manufacturer covering the UK and Australasia. Mr Woodacre’s last position was for an independent company specialising in high performance flexo inks, coatings and adhesives for the corrugated, label, flexible packaging and security markets.
