Asahi Photoproducts has appointed Paul Chant as UK branch manager, to continue growth and expansion within the UK flexographic market.
Mr Chant brings 28 years of experience from within the industry, having worked in the label, flexible packaging and reprographic sectors at senior manager and director levels. He previously worked for Asahi in a technical sales support role and now rejoins the company with responsibility for the entire UK business.
Mr Chant commented, ‘I am delighted to be back with the company at such an exciting time. It is clear that recent appointments to the UK-based technical support team have really strengthened the business unit and have played a major role in recent growth and success. The AQUA service is a clear differentiator, and combined with market leading products, places Asahi in a very strong position for future success. I am looking forward to further developing our relationships with both new and existing clients.’
The AQUA (Asahi Quality Universal Assurance) service was launched in 2014 as part of the company’s technical support service. The team of experienced technical support staff work on site in close cooperation with printers, collecting print characteristic data through audits ensuring optimum plate performance and stability as well as effective maintenance of equipment.
