Desmedt Labels in Bornem, Belgium, has installed a Cuttopress CP-6000 waste extraction system from Matho to reduce the waste volume and speed up the press times.
The extraction system is designed to handle the waste from six matrix machines and three edge trim slitters in the beginning, including an option to add three additional matrix machines in the future.
Matho planned, manufactured and installed the equipment as a turn-key-project for the customer. This includes the cutting modules, central pipe system, transportation fan, material separator, a professional dust filter system (incl. air return system) and an anti-static system.
